I took a chance and went against my gut, ordering these in cartridges. It was too good to be true. I need to print out full color appraisals, when I printed out the first one, the black pages were ok, but the color pages had toner up and down the edges, the colors were wrong, and then the color toner started to bleed onto the black and white pages too! I contacted the company, they were VERY polite, but told me I would have to ship the product back to them, then they would send the replacement. I had finally negotiated them down to free 3 day shipping and they would "authorize" my credit card as a deposit in case I did not return the toner. I told them that I was going to leave bad seller feedback, however, when the issue was resolved, I would gladly remove the feedback.

Shortly thereafter, greattoners emailed me the following response:

Thank you for contacting us and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. We have noticed that you have left us a feedback. Unfortunately, we no longer would be able to send this item out to you 3 days and would have to have your item received first. The print quality may be a little lighter than OEM, but it's not light enough to have me concerned. I got this to replace my now expired black cartridge that came with my Dell V515W Red all-in-one printer/scanner.
The cartridges that came with the printer only lasted a couple of pages...and at $32/cartridge from Dell was highway robbery! And while I mainly use this printer for scanning (very nice paper feed function on this thing) the "out of ink" warning was getting old!
There were no 3rd party inks for this printer for quite a while. But when I saw this, I took the risk and ordered. When it arrived, I opened the printer, popped out the old cartridge, put in the new one and it works! Recognized and prints now! No more out of ink warnings!
It really is nasty what Dell has done with this printer...The cartridges are designed to "expire" after a set number of pages have been printed...not based off of how much ink is left, or date of the cartridge (I'm looking at you HP!) So if your cartridge has printed a certain number of pages, it is done whether there's ink in it or not...that sucks!
