Printronic Remanufactured Ink Cartridge Replacement for HP 60XL CC644WN (1 Color) Review

I got an HP Deskjet F4480 printer. The product came with standard HP 60 ink cartidges and they ran out pretty quickly.

I replaced them with remanufactured versions of the high capacity 60XL.

The black one seems ok, and the color one worked for a while, even though the ink level indicator showed the cartridge being empty.

However, at some point I started getting an error message and then the other day my printer wouldn't print. When I remove the CC644W tri-color cartridge, the printer prints once again, although of course just in black because the color cartridge is removed.

I guess I need to try buying an actual HP tri-color 60XL and see if that works OK. They do warn you that remanufactured ones might not work correctly. Still, it's hard for me to fathom why a remanufactured one shouldn't work just as well as the HP one.
