One of the downsides to purchasing a Color Laser Printer has always been the cost of the multiple cartridges. But, with these 4 cartridges being available for a little over $20.00 each, I can now have a printer specifically for when I need to print color brochures or photos and the quality of the color prints are very good.

I have an Epson Artisan 837 to print my Color DVD labels, and an HP LaserJet 4200 for my everyday Black and White Printing and an HP LaserJet Pro color MFP for my color Flyers and Photos.

The HP LaserJet single Cartridge will print up to 12,000 black and white pages and that is very cost effective when compared to an InkJet Printer and it doesn't have the big disadvantage of the inkjets clogging up and having to be cleaned all the time nor the "bleading" that occurs in photos or brochures even when using 26# paper.

Also the LaserJet Printers don't have a problem like the InkJets do of the ink drying out from non activity.

I have printed over 100 double Sided Flyers and still have between 50-80 percent in the 4 cartridges, the yield will vary depending upon the various different colors used in the brochure/flyer. I have a lot of yellow in mine, so the yellow will run out first, but all the other colors are closer to the 80 percent left. So, that means my flyers will probably cost about 20-30 cents each, compared to about 9-11 cents each from a large printer, but I wanted to be able to print up to 300 in a hurry in case I can't wait for the 3-7 days that are needed some times for a large order from one of the big boys.

I bought these cartridges from INK4WORK on Amazon.com and they are great and have one of the best prices for these.

I, like some of the other reviewers, was worried about the price being TOO low. How could this compare to the $150 Dell factory replacements? Well so far so good. I replaced all my toner with these, with nary a drop in quality, speed or any discernible differences (besides the replacements are missing the stickers). But that is easily remedied because the printer itself has permanent marking telling you which color goes in the right spot.

So as far as I am concerned, there is nothing to worry about with this product, as anyone with an investment in a $200+ color laser should rightfully be skeptical. This company is simply charging a fair price, instead of gouging clients like so many companies choose to do for ink and toner that cost pennies in actual supplies!

I bought this item on Amazon, but through Infinite Surplus. This is meant to be a helpful warning to Amazon Shoppers. I bought this cartridge last year. It sat on a shelf in my office until I needed it. After removing the shipping label (which was stuck over the end of the box thus concealing the fact that the box had been previously opened), I realized that the box had been opened, but not the inside plastic buble wrap that held the toner cartridge. Infinite Surplus sold me an open box! After opening the bubble wrap, I noticed a broken tab on the cartridge that rendered the cartridge inoperable. I assume that the toner cartridge I bought had been opened and dropped at some point before I bought it. I will likely try to superglue the broken tab to see if I can make it work. I am way beyond the return period for this item. Before you start complaining about this being the wrong place for a review of this nature, I did look for a place to leave seller feedback and could not find one. If you have helpful suggestions about where I can leave a comment like this, please send it along. Otherwise, I would take my hard learned lesson and make sure you check packaging when you receive the item even if a portion of the package is concealed by shipping lebels, etc. I have emailed Infinite Surplus and Amazon. I will update this review once I get a response. This is the first problem I've ever had with an item bought on Amazon.

This toner seems to work fine in my printer. I hope it lasts as long as the Samsung-brand one does, but I don't see anything wrong with the print quality. It installed easily.

UPDATE - three months later after buying the toner, and only medium-light usage, the toner is out! Clearly it does not last as long as a genuine Samsung toner. Don't buy this if you expect it to have the same life as the brand-name. I'm going to spend more on the real deal this time.
