One of the downsides to purchasing a Color Laser Printer has always been the cost of the multiple cartridges. But, with these 4 cartridges being available for a little over $20.00 each, I can now have a printer specifically for when I need to print color brochures or photos and the quality of the color prints are very good.

I have an Epson Artisan 837 to print my Color DVD labels, and an HP LaserJet 4200 for my everyday Black and White Printing and an HP LaserJet Pro color MFP for my color Flyers and Photos.

The HP LaserJet single Cartridge will print up to 12,000 black and white pages and that is very cost effective when compared to an InkJet Printer and it doesn't have the big disadvantage of the inkjets clogging up and having to be cleaned all the time nor the "bleading" that occurs in photos or brochures even when using 26# paper.

Also the LaserJet Printers don't have a problem like the InkJets do of the ink drying out from non activity.

I have printed over 100 double Sided Flyers and still have between 50-80 percent in the 4 cartridges, the yield will vary depending upon the various different colors used in the brochure/flyer. I have a lot of yellow in mine, so the yellow will run out first, but all the other colors are closer to the 80 percent left. So, that means my flyers will probably cost about 20-30 cents each, compared to about 9-11 cents each from a large printer, but I wanted to be able to print up to 300 in a hurry in case I can't wait for the 3-7 days that are needed some times for a large order from one of the big boys.

I bought these cartridges from INK4WORK on Amazon.com and they are great and have one of the best prices for these.
