I had hoped that by NOT purchasing the cheapest toner cartridge I could get a quality that was on par with the original, while avoiding the sub-par quality you can get with the cheapest option. But sadly that was not the case. I was very disappointed with the print quality. It was very faint.

I therefore ordered a different semi-expensive/cheaper toner from another company, and got exactly the same results (in other words this faint printing problem wasn't some random odd occurrence).

If faint printouts doesn't bother you, then this toner cartridge should work fine for you. But if you want the print quality to match what came with the printer, then I suggest buying original (which is unfortunate - since they do seem to be over priced).
