I had been so frustrated with my new printer and how it not only sucked up ink in no time, but also how small the cartridges seemed to be getting. So I went down to the basement and got out my old HP Deskjet and figured I would check and see what ink cost for it. To my amazement, I was able to get this ink and the color cartridge for 1/3 the cost of my current Canon ink. THEN...when I got the cartridge, it is absolutely HUGE compared to the Canon one. So long story short - my new printer is "on the shelf" and the old one is back in business! This cartridge and the color one (15) is simply fabulous - great job and prints just as well, if not better, than the other super expensive ones! Find yourself an old printer at a garage sale or something and get these cartridges - they are simply GREAT!
