Update June 19, 2013. We are more than 6 months and 2 cases (20 reams) of paper into these and the printer still reports "toner full". Print quality remains good.

While the "starter cartridges that came with our printer were short lived, so far we've pushed half a carton (5 reams) of paper through these "full sized" cartridges and still show toner OK. Cartridge change was uneventful, print quality remains high.

Elsewhere I have reported problems with the printer losing contact with my computers, but we have since determined that the problem is limited to ONE of our two MS Vista based machines. The W-7 and Linux machines work fine. I feel confirmed in my decision to abandon my former loyalty to HP. Canon Rocks!
