we have ordered these 3x now and all the cartridges work great. considering that a single cartridge from the manufacturer cost 3-4 times what all these cost we couldn't be happier,...

BUT IMPORTANT STEPS to keep in mind. when you open up the cartridges and remove the small orange plastic piece from the bottom do so with care. they fill the cartridges completely, no skimping on the ink. when opening a new one up do so over some newspaper or a garbage pail. remove the orange plastic piece from the bottom of the cartridge with the cartridge turned up so you are looking down on the bottom. then when you turn the cartridge over and this happens every other time, the excess ink, not much but a good half dozen "plops" will come out. remove the pull tab from the top front of the cartridge. then still holding the cartridge over newspaper etc. shake it once or twice, not shake like a baby's rattle but a single up down motion so the ink drop on the bottom flings off onto the paper. then grab a paper towel and dab the bottom three or four times to soak up any leftover extra and you are good to go.

yes there is a small amount of prep you need to do before putting them into your printer but when you think about the savings it is so worth it and why we have ordered these three times to date. my thinking is get them cheap as an add on item while i can. at that price even if my printer dies before i use all the ink no great loss but certainly a lot of money saved. as for the quality of the ink i cannot discern any difference whatsoever from ink provided by the printer manufacturer.

p.s. i am now on my sixth set and though the issue being too full requiring careful opening is still present. i have to date not had a single bad or not useable cartridge. so far 100% success rate out of 72 individual cartridges, not bad, not bad at all.
