In my experience these compatible cartridges produce just as high quality prints as the OEM's but at a fraction of the cost. For years I've used compatibles in my Canon printers with no difficulties. I've replaced most of the original cartridges that came with my new Canon Pixma with these compatibles now and all's well. The ink level indicator chip works well, and the packaging is just like the original also.[That's an important feature to me. Nobody wants ink all over the place!] For the type of printing I do most, [std printer paper] the color quality is quite satisfactory.
