I have bought quite a few of these ink cartridges from Amazon and all worked as expected. I ordered this one because I knew it was low and would be needed soon. When I installed it, the printer wouldn't recognize it and now the return window is closed. I could still return it, pay shipping, and then pay a restocking fee but that would all cost about as much as a new cartridge-what's the use.

I think the return period for things like ink cartridges should be extended because you don't always need the cartridge as soon as you get it and don't find out its bad until after return period is over.
