So this cartridge works perfectly and ink is just as dark, dries quickly and with no smears as the original HP one. My only issue i had with this generic toner was that the printer doesn't recognize the cartridge so it wont be able to keep track on toner level but its no big deal i suppose seeing that it was so cheap. There is a review on this item that says it didnt work at all and i am pretty sure that the person who wrote the review didnt pull on the ring tab on the side that pulls the plastic coating off the drum before using it and thats why it didnt work so be sure to follow the directions on the paper and the box and on the cartridge when installing this.
