I didn't want to go the refillable ink route yet, what with the hole puncturing (depending on the model) and the injecting of ink with a syringe. So, the next best alternative is apparently off-brand toner replacements. I'll list the pros and cons for someone in the same position as me.

Pros:

-Cheaper than Samsung-official replacements.

-Fits my CLP-325W Samsung Color Laser Printer well enough.

-Arrived in easy-to-open packaging with a basic text instruction sheet, enough for anyone that has replaced an ink cartridge before to figure out.

-Everything prints with the same clarity as the starter-toners that came with the printer when it was purchased brand new, which is fine.

-I took all my old toner cartridges out and put them in the bags/packaging that the replacement ones came in for easy storage/recycling.

-Printer recognizes toner cartridges, has removed the "low toner" warnings, and no new warnings have appeared.

Cons:

-The black one had a good plastic seal lined with foam and taped on. The cyan and magenta had the plastic seal with foam liner but no tape. Okay so far. The yellow one had just a folder over sheet of foam taped on, and it was not centered properly. Toner dust had gotten on the tape, on the cartridge, inside the bag, and now a little on my hands. Either way, I put all the replacements in.

-They went in fine and lined up correctly, but the tabs are a little long, causing the front of my printer to have difficulty closing. Possibly as a result of this, when it prints/warms up, there's a loud rattling noise. Concerning to say the least, but the print jobs come out fine.

Summary:

We'll see how it performs in the long-run, but they're supposed to last a long time. I got about 1500 pages out of my Samsung Official starter black toner and 1000 out of each of my color toners. I still don't like the rattling noise and I *really* hope there's no damage occurring, but my belief is that it's just those tabs rattling against the outer shell of the printer that had to be forced closed against them. I hope I'm right. Otherwise, these appear to do the job just fine.
