..in my printer, a J4550, the software complains that "the cartridge has been used, therefore the low ink warning and ink level features will be unavailable". Not the worst thing in the world, but for a cart sold as compatible that's not exactly 100% in my book. Clearly it's HP's attempt at spanking the people that buy refilled units, but when I've had several overpriced "Genuine HP" cartridges fail before they were even close to empty, well, they can go pound sand. I will deal with the lack of ink levels, assuming this one doesn't fail before it's empty. If it does, I'm done with inkjet printers and will jump to a color laser.
